What we did
Elegant Clutter were asked to create an original artwork collection for Moxy Frankfurt, one of Marriott’s millennial-focussed hotels.
Working closely with Joi-Design and the lighting designers, we embraced the youthful, fun and rebellious style of the brand.
The design pays homage to Frankfurt’s financial district and the building which used to be a bank. Lift doors have become vault doors and inside a bank heist scene leaves guests feeling they’re part of a crime! Representing the German stock market, an oversized steel bull created in our studios, sits intriguingly next to a cuddly bear. Iconic emblems presented in an unexpected fashion.
Striking oversized graphics overlook the casual space. Our designers digitally worked 80s newspapers into the model photography shots, recreating the carefree attitude of the decade’s boom time.
