Juliana Loveday
Juliana Loveday is an exciting emerging artist whose work has been in many publications including The Sunday Times, The Observer Magazine, ENKI Magazine, Elle Decoration and Elle Decoration Country. As a printmaker she is interested in the process as much as the finished piece. The use of colour and line a key focus. The influence of modern design and colour continue to inform her work which led her to being shortlisted as Best Newcomer to London Design Week last year by Elle Decoration.
“I believe in making contemplative works. The materials and execution are as important to me as the work itself”
After graduating with her degree in Fine Art, Juliana went on to work within interior design. Her understanding of visual language and how artwork can communicate within spaces is unparalleled. Often Juliana’s prints evoke a sense of calm and order through their subdued palette, yet her recent commission for Nobu Hotel, London show off her experimental side. Juliana pushed the boundaries printmaking by harnessing the power of Nobu’s iconic blue to create large scale centerpiece for the entrance.
