Elegant Clutter continue to work as art consultants for Malmaison, creating original and highly customised artwork for the boutique brand.
Having formed a close relationship over the years, we thoroughly enjoy being put through our creative paces. Working with its in-house development team, we are trusted to create something unique every time.
A key part of the brief is to create artwork that can adapt to the changing ambience of day to night. Much of the art you’ll see does just that. Working on either a visual or conceptual level, it offers that spark of surprise, fascinating guests, while leaving a lasting impression.
You’ll find ‘wow’ pieces dotted all around. From an ultra-violet artwork revealing a hidden ‘alter ego’ as the lighting changes, to examples of the ‘ordinary’, morphing into the ‘extraordinary’. We have also created an entire collection of digitally-printed bedroom murals.
An intriguing world of juxtapositions – everything from a tattooed marble bust to seeing classic artwork on skateboards feels unexpected. Such clashes perfectly capturing Malmaison’s rebellious streak and reinforcing its mantra of ‘daring to be different’.
