What we did
Supporting Radisson’s European hotel development for many years, we were excited to work on one of its flagships, Radisson Blu, Frankfurt. With a mass of floors and spaces to treat, the project took just over two years to complete.
The challenge was to maintain its monochrome photographic style, while making it relevant to the city’s spirit. Also, to find ways of integrating art in unexpected places, adding a contemporary touch.
Working with both in house and local photographers and fine artists, every inch of this striking city is celebrated. The skyline photography marks Frankfurt as Europe’s financial centre, setting an atmospheric scene.
As well as framing artwork, our diverse printing capabilities allowed us to apply art to other materials, including shower panels and room dividers. We also procured, framed and installed a display of surrealist portraits in the hotel’s public area.
Using our experience and close collaboration with other creatives, what stands now is a sophisticated hotel, with a distinct ‘art gallery’ feel.
